About Ava
Ava has been capturing the people and places of the Susquehanna Valley for 16 years. Growing up in the heart of Amish country, she quickly grew an affinity for nature and that affinity is what eventually evolved into her career. Seeking knowledge, adventure, and beauty, Ava moved to Massachusetts in 2009 after years of self-improvement, to attend Hallmark Institute of Photography.
She graduated the real-world based, accelerated program a year later, but her journey to learn and explore the world continues to this day. Ava’s love for hiking feeds her need for exploration. Whether it’s hiking into the unknown with her camera and equipment to uncover beautiful scenery or capturing a new family’s first photos; Ava feels at home.

With 13 years of professional experience, she captures authentic, storytelling moments that elevate everyday life. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Better Homes and Gardens, Food and Wine Magazine, Fig Magazine, Thaddeus Tower Magazine and other local publications.
Jen loves Lititz, and is drawn by her Lititz-based family, who keep her heart rooted in what she believes is the cutest town in the U.S.
