Kara Newhouse is a picture book author and award-winning journalist with a passion for telling untold stories about the wonder and possibility all around us. An explorer by nature, Kara writes about a wide range of topics from biology to women’s history to sports. The common thread is a relentless curiosity about the ways we’re all connected.

Her debut picture book, The Story of Everything: The Story of You! combines takes young readers on a journey through time to understand how extraordinary, long ago events led to their existence today.
