Taller in Person Concert Tour

July 25, 2023 @ 7:30 pm 9:00 pm

Hosted by Aaron’s Books

Aaron’s Books in Lititz is hosting the national summer Taller in Person concert
tour, featuring three indie rock and folk artists, on Wednesday, July 25 at 7:30pm.
The Taller in Person tour kicks off the Hollywood Fringe Festival and travels the
Mid-Atlantic, New England, and South throughout July and August, ending at the
Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Featured performers are Laser The Boy, Emily
Henry and Juliana Finch.

Juliana Finch is a North Carolina-based singer/songwriter with strong Americana roots. With a sultry, soothing voice and carefully crafted lyrics, she earns her spot in a long tradition of storytelling songwriters. Juliana has toured nationally and been
featured at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival and Pride festivals across the Southeast,
and her music has appeared in independent films and on the hit surreal fiction
podcast “Welcome To Night Vale.” Her new album “Bittersweet” will be released this
Fall.

Laser Webber is a trans musician, performer, and author. His music “challenges
the patriarchy, champions marginalized voices, and finds emotional resonance in
everything from robots to breakfast foods.” He has toured the US, Australia, and
Europe as front person of The Doubleclicks, and has racked up over 4 million
Youtube views amongst their large and beautiful grassroots audience. Laser
co-wrote the musical “Teaching a Robot to Love,” a sci-fi story about the trans
experience, with E. Aaron Wilson. The musical’s concept album charted on Billboard
and its sold-out, award-winning debut run took place at the 2022 Hollywood Fringe
Festival! As a speaker and author, Laser helps independent artists get money and
attention for their creative projects. He has raised more than $2 million using
Kickstarter and Patreon for comics, games, and music, and is the author of
“Crowdfunding for Musicians,” a how-to book for indie artists who want to achieve
their dreams without gatekeepers. Laser hosts the actual-play Twitch show and
podcast “Strumpets and Flagons” and keeps starting new podcasts. He hosts variety
shows and performs musical improv in Los Angeles from time to time.

Emily Henry is a DC-based singer-songwriter who performs her own personal
brand of elegant electro-infused indie pop. Known for her powerful yet sweet
vocals and an authentic musical instinct, she has been compared to artists such as
Joni Mitchell and Sylvan Esso.

Tickets are $12 in advance at Aaron’s Books or online at AaronsBooks.com. If seating is available, tickets can be purchased at the door for $15.
