19th Annual Youth Triathlon with Lititz recCenter

The Lititz recCenter is excited to host the 19th Annual Youth Triathlon on Friday, October 3rd, at 5:00 pm for children ages 5-12. This fun and engaging event is designed to encourage physical fitness through swimming, biking, and running. Participants must bring essential items including a swimsuit, towel, running shoes, a bike, and a helmet, all of which are mandatory for participation. Sign-in will be organized by age groups, and a bike safety check will take place from 3:45 to 4:45 pm. Each young athlete will have their entry number marked for timing purposes, as the event, while timed, is noncompetitive. The swim portion will be held in the indoor pool with varying lengths depending on age, followed by a biking segment, and concluding with a run. The registration fee is $25 if pre-registered by September 20th, which includes a t-shirt and goodie bag. After this date, the fee rises to $30, with no guarantee of receiving a t-shirt or goodie bag. Day-of registration is available from 3:45 to 4:45 pm.
