Faces of Lititz

If ‘Cheers’ Were a Coffee Shop…

It would be Dosie Dough

Step inside Dosie Dough and you’ll see Lititz’s very own version of Cheers – a place where everybody knows your name, and they aren’t afraid to shout out a greeting – or a rib – when you step inside or pull up a chair on the front patio. It’s warm and welcoming and full of characters. We’ll let you decide who our Norm and Cliff are…

For over 25 years, Dosie Dough has been where we meet to catch up, refuel after a ride or a run, or brainstorm new business ventures. Owner Amy Lloyd has been at the helm since she was 18 and the business has grown and matured with her – but one important thing hasn’t changed.

The joy.

There’s a happiness in the air at Dosie Dough. That joy lives within Amy and her team, who always seem to be having a great time. And it’s contagious. We can’t be the only ones who always leave Dosie Dough a little happier than when we walked in, and we’re pretty sure it’s not just the caffeine!

Amy tells us she chose Lititz for her business because of our vibrant community and our dedication to downtown, saying, “We opened Dosie Dough originally because we love sweets and coffee and being part of the community. Customers are my favorite part of the business.”

Amy notes that her best selling products – aside from coffee – are bagels and long johns, with her personal favorite being vanilla long johns (anyone else’s stomach growling?). Her favorite spot in Lititz is Aaron’s Books, noting that “we are so fortunate to have a vibrant independent book store.”

When Amy’s not at work, you’ll probably find her strolling through the woods or doing something outside. We’re just glad she’s here, inside Lititz, adding so much joy to our community.
