When we’re lucky enough to have a person in our lives that goes the extra mile for us, we want to give something that expresses our gratitude, that gives back to them – an experience, a memory, time together – something that will become a part of our shared story. This year, we’re excited to gift a Bourbon and Cheese Pairing from our friends at The Savory Gourmet. These special evening events sell out fast and offer an intimate gathering where guests taste a variety of exotic cheese and bourbon pairings. Hosted by owners Missy and Bill, you’ll feel like you’ve been invited into the home of old friends.
Speaking of a warm welcome, we’re also big fans of the date nights offered by Piccolo Eatery. Reservations are required for these special evenings, hosted by Chef Nino on every second and third Saturday. The fixed menu experience introduces diners to a region of Italy with a multi-course meal prepared and explained with love by Chef Nino.
For the budding chefs in our lives, we’re giving gift certificates to the Zest! Cooking School. They offer cooking classes that fit every experience level, from cooking basics, to classes created just for kids, to date nights, and events featuring flavors from around the world.
For the Music & Arts Enthusiast:
Looking for a quintessential Lititz experience? The Coolest Night Out combines all of our favorite things – art, music, and an event that Lititz locals and visitors alike love. It’s the premier party to Lititz Fire & Ice and it’s hosted by our friends at Lititz Shirt Factory. The party offers guests a first look at the Local Eyes Photography Exhibit, featuring images that reveal a unique perspective on life in Lititz, a live, private ice carving of the first sculpture to be completed for Lititz Fire & Ice, a performance by Big Boy Brass, hors d’oeuvres, and a complimentary drink from the world class brewers at Collusion Tap Works. When we aren’t quite sure what to get, we always opt for Lititz Dollars! Our very own Lititz currency, they allow the recipient to spend money at any downtown Lititz shop or restaurant. Perfect for favorite teachers, friends, and hard-to-shop-for-family members, Lititz Dollars can be purchased with cash or a check at Aaron’s Books Monday through Saturday from 10 to 5.
