Friends Itinerary

Oh hey, it’s time for a friends getaway!

There’s no better place than Lititz to bond with best friends and have the best time. Here’s what we like to do when it’s all about staying in the friend zone:

Fuel up for a fun day with coffee roasted right here in Lititz – Whiff Roasters puts a Lititz spin on everyone’s favorite morning drink. If the weather is agreeable, take your coffee on-the-go and stroll through Lititz Springs Park as you sip. The park, featuring a natural spring, delights in every season and offers the added bonus of an adorable duck population. Spare change means you can feed these feathered friends.

Now it’s time to shop! If a bargain is what you’re looking for, we love heading to Purple Turtle Consignment Boutique (an easy walk from the park, located in the same area as Wilbur Chocolate) to search the racks for high fashion at heavy discounts. Vintage lovers will find a treasure trove at Main Men & Main Men Ladies on Main Street.

Friends who love snarky humor should also check out Atlas General Store. High fashion bags and jewelry pair with highly hilarious cards and gifts at this chic shop. Other friend favs include Purple Robin Reserve for gifts made by local artisans and Tiger’s Eye for the latest in Eileen Fisher fashions.

Thirsty? If your friends are into a more elegant afternoon, head to A Tea Affair for high tea – reservations encouraged. If you’re more into drinks with a kick, we always tell folks to take a stroll to Stoll & Wolfe Whiskey, an easy walk off of Main on Cedar Street. Here, Lititz’s very own distillery offers critically acclaimed handcrafted spirits.

If beer’s more your thing, we’ve got you covered. Head south on Cedar from Stoll and Wolfe and you’ll end up at Rooster Street Butcher, Lititz’s own craft brewery. After sampling some beers there, head through the alley directly across the street until you come to Collusion Tap Works, located within The Lititz Shirt Factory. Award-winning beer crafted just over the bridge in York, PA is found here – along with amazing music in the upstairs venue.

Other great places to grab a drink: Lititz Springs Inn (warm nights call for cocktails on their newly renovated patio), Bulls Head Public HouseBlackworth Live Fire Grill, and Appalachian Brewing Company.

Other fun activities for friends: hiking at Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area, a tasting pairing exotic meats and cheeses with local spirits at The Savory Gourmet (book in advance), an indoor game of golf at Lititz Golf.
