The Warwick to Ephrata Rail Trail (WERT) is a premier regional recreation system that seamlessly connects the vibrant communities of Lititz, Warwick Township, Ephrata Township, Akron, and Ephrata Borough. Stretching 7.5 miles one way, this picturesque trail traverses a beautiful landscape of historic villages, rolling farmland, and lush forested areas. Bookended by the historic downtowns of Lititz and Ephrata, the WERT offers a 15-mile round-trip experience that is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts looking to explore the heart of Lancaster County.

The trail features a mild grade and a mix of paved and unpaved sections.
Multiple access points featuring parking and a half-dozen restroom stops along the route.
Through a partnership with Lititz Bike Works, visitors can reserve bicycles for 2-hour or 4-hour windows to enjoy a ride along the trail.
The path serves as a green "highway," allowing users to travel between local parks—including Lititz Springs Park and Ephrata Linear Park—while enjoying the natural beauty of the Pennsylvania countryside.
