All’Aperto Quick Draw at the L’Italia Festival

A Juried ‘Quick Draw’ Event at L’Italia Festival of Lititz, PA
Artists are invited to Lititz Springs Park on September 21st, 2024 to participate in a juried ‘Quick Draw’ event. Registration is free and open to all members of the public — of all ages and experience levels. This year’s design prompt is to capture the “Spirit of L’Italia.” Artists are free to use any 2-dimensional medium to depict their chosen subject(s) and may submit up to three separate works to the jury. The key requirement is that all work be produced from direct on-site observation “En Plein Air” within the given timeframe. Also confirmed – a special Quick Draw Workshop for children 6-12 years old, led by Abby Saurbaugh from The Demuth Foundation. This is a fun way for kids to get involved without feeling intimidated.

adjacent to the Reedy Pavilion in
Lititz Springs Park, where blank
canvases will be stamped
10:00 – 2:00PM
QUICK DRAW ACTIVE HOURS
Artists are free to draw/paint for up
to 2-hours per work in the location(s)
of their choosing

SUBMISSION DEADLINE
Each work must be delivered to the
Bortz Pavilion within 2-hrs of being
stamped (and no later than 2:00pm)
for display & judging

At 5pm, artwork will be carefully
transported to The Log Cabin to
exhibit at L’Italia Gala on Sunday
9/22. Unsold pieces will be available
for pickup in Lititz through the end
of September.
